Swiss Date Privacy Policy

How Swiss Date collects, uses, protects, and deletes personal data.

Last updated: 28 August 2026

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Swiss Date mobile application, website, support channels, and related services. Swiss Date is an adults-only service and is not intended for anyone under 18.

2. Information we process

3. Why we use information

We use information to provide accounts and matching, deliver messages and notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, moderate content, process purchases, answer support requests, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

4. Sharing and service providers

We share the minimum information necessary with infrastructure, email, push-notification, error-monitoring, moderation, analytics, and payment-verification providers. Apple and Google independently process in-app purchases under their own terms. Providers must use data only to deliver contracted services and protect it.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or during a lawful corporate transaction. We do not make profiles public outside the product unless you choose to share a link or content.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, security and abuse prevention, dispute handling, and legal requirements. You can delete your account in the app or use our account deletion page. Some limited records may be retained where the law requires it or where necessary to prevent repeated abuse.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, portability, restriction, objection, or deletion of your personal data. You can change visibility, analytics, and notification preferences in the app. Contact support to exercise a right or ask a privacy question; we may verify your identity first.

7. Security and international transfers

We use encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege administration, backups, monitoring, and other reasonable safeguards. No internet transmission is completely risk-free. Service providers may process data in countries outside your own with appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.
